SAFE BOARDING FOR REACTIVE & AGGRESSIVE DOGS

Your dog deserves somewhere safe too.

Most boarding facilities turn away reactive and aggressive dogs. We built something specifically for them. A separate facility, individual runs with guillotine doors, no-touch protocols when needed, and Sarah Bostock on staff. Your dog can board safely — no matter what.

All Dogs Welcome
We don’t turn dogs away

YOU’VE PROBABLY HEARD THIS BEFORE

“We can’t take your dog.”

If you have a reactive or aggressive dog, you know how that feels. The calls to facilities. The explanations. The apologies. The scramble to find somewhere — anyone — who will take your dog when you need to travel.

Most boarding facilities aren’t equipped. They don’t have the space, the protocols, or the staff. So they say no. And you go home and cancel your trip.

Country Pup Kennel was built differently. We have a separate secure boarding facility specifically for dogs who need more space, more distance, and more careful handling. Your dog can board safely with us — no matter their history.

BUILT FOR THIS

A facility designed for dogs who need it most.

Our secure boarding facility is completely separate from the main kennel population. Individual runs with guillotine doors. Separate outdoor runs. Every protocol tailored to your dog’s specific needs.

Individual outdoor runs

Separate outdoor space for fresh air and exercise — no exposure to other dogs or unfamiliar people. Your dog gets outside without the risk.

Sarah Bostock on staff

Our certified behavior specialist. Many families use the boarding stay as an opportunity to add structured work with Sarah.

Separate secure facility

Completely away from the main kennel population. No shared spaces, no accidental contact, no triggers. Your dog has their own quiet space.

Guillotine door system

Allows staff to safely feed, clean, and care for your dog with zero direct contact required. True no-touch boarding when your dog needs it.

Who’s here with your dog

A behavior specialist. Not just a boarding attendant.

Sarah Bostock works with reactive and aggressive dogs every day. Her background isn’t just obedience — it’s behavior. How dogs think, what drives their decisions, how to work within their thresholds rather than pushing through them.

Dogs who have been turned away by other facilities, flagged as dangerous, or written off as untrainable — Sarah has worked with them.

Is this right for your dog?

This is for your dog if…

  • Your dog has been turned away by other boarding facilities
  • Your dog is reactive to other dogs, strangers, or both
  • Your dog has a bite history or has shown aggression
  • Your dog needs minimal human interaction to feel safe
  • Your dog does fine one-on-one but can’t be around other dogs
  • You’ve been canceling trips because you can’t find anywhere to take them
  • You want safe boarding combined with structured work with a behavior specialist

If any of these sound familiar — call us. We’d rather talk through your dog’s situation and be honest with you than have you keep calling facilities that say no.

common questions

We’d rather you ask than wonder.

Do you take dogs with bite histories?

Yes — call us first. We need to understand your dog’s specific history and triggers before booking so we can build the right plan.

What does no-touch boarding actually mean?

Our guillotine door system allows staff to safely feed, clean, and care for your dog with zero direct contact if needed.

Is my dog separated from other dogs?

Yes — completely. Separate facility, separate outdoor runs, no shared spaces or contact with the general kennel population.

Can Sarah work with my dog during the stay?

Yes — many families use the boarding stay as an opportunity for structured work with Sarah. We’ll discuss whether that makes sense during the phone call.

What is the pricing?

Secure boarding starts at $100/night. Pricing may vary based on your dog’s specific needs. Call us to confirm — 763-220-5885.

Do you require a Meet & Greet?

For dogs with known aggression we handle intake differently than a standard Meet & Greet. Call us and we’ll discuss the right approach.

Your dog deserves somewhere safe.

Start with a call. Tell us about your dog — their history, their triggers, what you need. We’ll be honest with you about whether we can help. No judgment. No runaround. Just an honest conversation.
