A program for every dog
Our group classes follow a progressive path — each level building on the last. Every class is taught by Sarah in our climate-controlled indoor training facility, open year-round.

Puppy Foundations
For puppies 8 months and younger
House training, leash manners, basic commands, socialization, and confidence building. Works toward AKC Star Puppy. The foundation that makes everything else easier.
Prerequisite for Intermediate Obedience

For dogs 9 months and older
Sit, down, stay, recall, heel, place, leave it. Leash manners, polite greetings, and real-world focus. Perfect for newly adopted dogs, family pets, or any dog that needs a solid reset.

For dogs who know the basics
Adds distance, duration, and real-world distraction to everything your dog already knows. Improves handler timing and consistency. Works toward Canine Good Citizen (CGC).

Teaches kids and dogs to communicate safely and confidently together. Body language, basic cues, leash skills, treat handling, and fun training games. Builds confidence and responsibility for the whole family.

In-Home Training
Training in the environment where behavior actually matters. One-hour sessions at your home, in the park, or wherever your dog needs work. Family members and other dogs can join. All dogs accepted.

One day. Real results.
Concentrated, structured work in a single day. Great for dogs who need more individual attention, owners with busy schedules, or dogs not yet ready for group settings.

A mentally stimulating day packed with puzzles, scent work, walks, agility, and more. Less intense than Day Train or Socialization Day — great for a change of pace.

You come home to a different dog.
Board & Train is CPK’s most intensive training program. Your dog lives and trains with Sarah for 2 to 8 weeks. Daily sessions, real-world exposure, and a full handoff so you know exactly how to continue the work at home.

Climate-controlled, spacious, and open every season. Multiple training areas, bathroom on-site, and plenty of parking. Minnesota winters are no reason to stop working with your dog.

Absolutely. Many clients drop off for daycare and add a training session. Board & Train combines full boarding with daily training.
Yes. Our indoor training building is climate-controlled and available year-round. Minnesota winters are no excuse to stop training.
Depends on the dog and the program. Most clients see meaningful progress within the first few sessions. Board & Train produces the most accelerated results.
Yes — children are welcome in all classes and have their own dedicated Kids class. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
