MEET YOUR TRAINER

Sarah studied the animal.
Sarah Bostock · Head Trainer, Country Pup Kennel
Sarah’s background isn’t typical. Before working with family dogs, she was studying animal behavior at UCF, working under Dr. David Mech — one of the world’s leading wolf biologists — and educating at Sea World and animal sanctuaries.
That foundation changes how she sees dogs. She doesn’t just teach commands. She reads what’s actually driving a behavior and builds a training plan that addresses it at the root. Puppies, reactive dogs, stubborn teenagers, dogs with serious history — she’s worked with all of them, and she knows what to do.
Every dog is different. Every program should be too.
From group classes to one-on-one sessions to training in your own home — there’s a format that fits your dog, your schedule, and your goals.
Puppy & Basic Obedience
The foundation that makes everything else easier. House training, leash manners, sit, down, stay, recall, heel, place, leave it — plus socialization and confidence building. Open to puppies and dogs of all ages starting fresh.
Intermediate & Advanced Obedience
Builds on the basics with distance, duration, and real-world distraction. Improves handler timing and consistency. Works toward Canine Good Citizen (CGC). Advanced level available for dogs ready for the next challenge.
1-on-1 Sessions at Our Facility
Private sessions tailored entirely to your dog’s specific needs and your goals. Work on any unwanted behavior or skill. All dogs accepted — including dogs with reactivity or behavior history that aren’t right for group classes.
Training Where It Actually Matters
One-hour sessions at your home, in the park, or wherever your dog needs work most. Family members and other dogs can join. Ideal when behavior shows up in specific environments — the front door, the backyard, on walks.
Looking for something more intensive? Board & Train is also available — your dog stays at CPK and works with Sarah daily for 2 to 8 weeks. It’s a separate program with its own process. Learn more about Board & Train →

From families who’ve trained with Sarah
“My dog Linus goes here for daycare and has done socialization class with Sarah the trainer. We love it. They have been very understanding and willing to work with Linus who is a rescue and has some different reactivity issues in some situations. I also have taken my older dog to scent class and ratting class and he loved it. Our family really appreciates the care and opportunities that Country Pup has given us.”
“Sarah has a true gift! She made a huge impact on our puppy during a short board and train. She is patient, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. She answered any questions I had, kept me updated, sent pictures, and sent a very thorough document afterwards noting everything that was worked on. Our dog left a very happy dog with solid new skills.”
